The CMHC program is highly valued by candidates that wish to fulfill the educational requirements necessary to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), as well as those seeking research positions, those planning to pursue a doctoral degree, those interested in teaching, those seeking human service positions in a variety of settings, and more. Students receive a comprehensive background in the counseling theories, empirical research findings, counseling skills, and treatment approaches in a variety of mental health settings and with diverse client backgrounds. Early review of applications will begin February 15, 2012. However, applications will continue to be accepted on a rolling basis until all slots in the program are filled. Applicants qualifying for an interview will be contacted.
