How many transfer credits does the Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science major accept?
Up to 90 transfer credits may be accepted; however, students must still meet general education, Rowan experience and specific sequence and major requirements.
               
Is there a GPA requirement for LS: H/SS?
The Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science program GPA follows the minimum Rowan University GPA requirement of 2.0.

Can I take a course for my major at another college?
Yes, provided 1) you have not reached the maximum number of credits permitted for the Program Sequence and 2) the course transfers as an equivalent to the Rowan requirement. Course Equivalents must be checked before registering at another college (can be found on the Office of the Registrar website www.rowan.edu/registrar) or consult with the LS: H/SS Program Coordinator.
