Major Requirements

Choose one area from Program Sequence A and one from Program Sequence B,
OR two subject areas from Program Sequence A. Completion of two Program Sequences is required plus a minimum number of Free Elective credits. Required Free Elective credits may also be completed as a third Program Sequence provided Program A and B requirements are met.

Other major requirements include 6 credits of History/Humanities/Language chosen from Approved General Education Courses, 6 credits of Social and Behavioral Science chosen from Approved General Education Courses, and 11 credits of Non-Program courses. General Education and Rowan Experience requirements will complete the requisite 120 credits to obtain the Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science.

Liberal Studies: Humanities/Social Science as a dual major for Teacher Certification requires choosing Program Sequences in approved Education subject areas.
