The Junior Urban Medical Pioneers High School Academy (JUMP HIGH) is a one-day program for high school students who excel in math and science. The program's hands-on activities and interactive learning sessions expose students to applied science, and provide an overview of a variety of science and healthcare careers.
JUMP High is led by faculty of Cooper Medical School of Rowan University. Sessions are held at Cooper Medical School of Rowan University.
The primary goal of JUMP High is to provide mentorship and exposure to medical professions to students who belong to groups that are traditionally under-represented in medicine, as well as those from financially disadvantaged backgrounds.
Students will be presented with information on various career options within the field of medicine and leave with a better understanding of how to achieve success in the sciences.
Students are recommended by guidance counselor or science teacher. Parental consent is required. Students receive confirmation of acceptance directly from CMSRU. For questions regarding JUMP High contact Octavia Nash, Assistant Director of Special Programs, at 856-361-2818 or email@example.com.
