Thanks for visiting "White Coat Notes!" Read on to learn more about our special initiative that will allow donors to surprise a new medical student with a note of support.
Student doctors have donned their trademark short white coats for decades, and the White Coat Ceremony is a rite of passage for new medical students at schools throughout the US. Although first-year medical students have much to learn, the White Coat Ceremony is a ritual that sets them on the path to graduation day -- the day their names will be followed by the letters MD.
With a minimum gift of $100, you can write a note that will be placed in the pocket of a new student's white coat. Surprise a student -- any student, or the specific student of your choosing -- with a note of encouragement and support on this meaningful occasion!
*All funds raised go directly to CMSRU's Student Activites Fund!*
