Important 2013 Dates
| January 1 |
- File the 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online with your 2012 federal tax documents by logging onto www.fafsa.ed.gov
- Be certain to list CMSRU’s School Code: 002609
- Your FAFSA PIN is required to electronically sign your application. If you do not already have a PIN or you cannot remember it from a previous year, log onto www.pin.ed.gov before you complete your electronic application.
- Complete the CMSRU Institutional Form
- Students should begin to apply for CMSRU financial aid awards. Parental income/assets are required on the FAFSA for these awards, unless the student is married (if applicable, income/assets for the spouse are required).
- Students should begin to apply for outside/private scholarships. Students must notify the office via email at financialaid@coopermed.rowan.edu if outside/private scholarships are expected.

- Priority review is provided to applicants that submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) by this date
- Priority review is provided to applicants that submit the CMSRU Institutional Form (institutional scholarship application) by this date
- The CMSRU Institutional Form is required of all CMSRU institutional scholarship applicants to be considered for institutional scholarships
- This form will be provided only to accepted CMSRU students and reviewed alongside a completed FAFSA

- Complete the below financial aid requirements online at www.studentloans.gov
- Complete your Federal Direct Loan entrance counseling
- Sign your Federal Direct Loan Master Promissory Note-MPN
- If additional funding is needed, apply for a credit based Federal Graduate Plus Direct Loan OR
- Apply for a credit based Private/Alternative Education Loan directly with any lender you choose
