Alexis Kopperman received her B.S. in Elementary education from West Chester State College, her M.Ed. in Mathematics Education from Temple University and her master's in Administration from Rowan. After 36 years in public education, Alexis retired and is now teaching at Rowan University as well as consulting in many school districts. Included among her honors are State and national Mathematics Teacher of the Year for the State of NJ in 1997 , an NSF grant to study at Syracuse University and an NSF grant to participate in Newmast, a two week program at NASA to work with astronauts and engineers.
