Who is ACT?

The Assessment Consulting Team (ACT) facilitates a culture that celebrates learning at Rowan University by focusing on student learning outcomes assessment at the programmatic level in an intentional and strategic manner.

ACT is a key means of support for assessment activities.  ACT has developed a model to guide programs in developing assessment processes and will provide direct assistance, including

  • facilitation of whole-department sessions to identify a program’s educational values
  • assistance with curriculum mapping and evaluation
  • assistance with identifying appropriate student learning outcomes
  • resources and expertise to aid in identifying or creating methods of describing or measuring student achievement
  • strategies for applying assessment findings to improvement of the program
