Rowan University honors matriculated, degree-seeking students who have demonstrated outstanding academic achievement in one of the following three areas of scholarly excellence: The President's Scholars of Excellence, bestowed upon full-time, matriculated undergraduates who have earned a cumulative grade point average of 4.0 for a given term, based on 12 semester hours of letter grades. P/NC grades will not contribute to the computation of cumulative grade point averages. Graduate Deans' List, bestowed upon those who have a cumulative grade point average of 3.85 for the term with a minimum of 9 earned hours of graded coursework. P/NC grades will not contribute to the computation of cumulative grade point averages. Undergraduate Deans' List, bestowed upon those who have grade point averages of 3.45 or better, based on 12 semester hours of letter grades, for a given term. P/NC grades will not contribute to the computation of cumulative grade point averages. Note, Undergraduate part-time honorees are determined at the end of the Summer term. Rowan University also recognizes exceptional academic achievement at graduation. Please note, University Academic Honors appear on the academic transcript while the University Scholar honors appear on a professional certificate and not the academic transcript.
