Who We Are

Rowan University SCPP is a group of approximately 50 students who work under the Rowan University Department of Public Safety to provide basic safety services to the students of Rowan University.

What We Do

SCPP Members provide the following services to the Rowan University community:

  • Safe Walk and Ride service that operates every night from dusk til dawn.
  • Front-desk proctors in Mimosa, Evergreen, Triad, and Mullica Halls every night from 7:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m.
  • Additional proctors in academic buildings including Campbell Library and Engineering Hall.
  • Nightly checks of emergency phones to ensure working condition.
  • Nightly patrols of academic buildings.

In addition, SCPP provides additional assistance at major University events such as move-in, Homecoming, and Graduation.
