Public Safety
Police Police Services is Rowan University's own police agency. At the present time it consists of one lieutenant, two sergeants and four patrolmen. Police officers will handle a variety of situations including domestic violence and drug investigations. These officers will also be available for traffic duty as well as arrest situations on campus. Rowan police officers have full police authority. Their authority is state-wide. Rowan police officers attend the same police academy, receive the same training and complete the same annual updates as their municipal counterparts. Police Services also make presentations on drug and alcohol awareness and domestic violence. They are available to provide fingerprinting for student teaching. The officers also make themselves available for student criminal justice concerns. Anyone wishing to provide assistance in an investigation should call Lt. John Malinski at 856-256-4564. |
