Cap and gown rentals for faculty and staff are facilitated through the Rowan Barnes & Noble. Detailed written information and an order form will be sent to each department at the end of March. Orders for rentals must be received by Friday, April 19 with rental fee. Any questions about rentals should be addressed to Val Wojcik at 856-881-5960 or wojcik@rowan.edu. Note: Please return rental regalia to Barnes & Noble by Tuesday, May 21.
Specifics Where: Richard Wackar Stadium Parking Please use any parking lot adjacent to the gym except Lot M. If possible, we suggest you leave your car in your normal parking spot and walk. Special needs parking Lot M is reserved for special needs parking. If you need a special needs parking space, please contact Elaina Surace in the Parking Office at (856) 256-4574. Dress Please dress appropriately for weather conditions. The gym does get hot. You may not want to wear a jacket under your robe. Please leave all personal items locked in your office. Line-up Faculty and professional staff should arrive dressed in their regalia and line up on the Bowe Blvd. side of the Wackar Stadium track by 5 p.m. College signs will be prominent and marshals will be available to assist you. The processional line-up is as follows:
Platform A bottle of water will be under each seat and a program will be on each seat. Inclement Weather In case of inclement weather, the ceremony will move indoors to Esbjornson Gymnasium and will start at 5:30 p.m. All platform guests, faculty and professional staff should report to Esbjornson Hall 105 by 5 p.m. for robing and line-up. Marshals will be available to assist you. |
