Graduate Tickets

The ONLY way to secure Commencement tickets and your seat at the ceremony on Thursday, May 16 at 5:30 pm at Richard Wackar Stadium is

Step 1: APPLY TO GRADUATE!

Submission of an Application for Graduation is a requirement for degree conferral. Regular deadline is 12/31/12. Late deadline (additional fee) is 1/31/13.

• Students must review their GRAD (Graduation Requirements Advising Database) report or transcript through Student Self Service Banner, and meet with their advisor for approval to proceed. Failure to do so may result in inadequate preparation of degree requirements, leading to the rejection of the graduation application. Rejected applicants must reapply for graduation, and resubmit the processing fee when they have fullfilled the requirements.
• Students apply online through Self Service Banner, under the Student Menu, by clicking on the "Apply to Graduate" link. If there are any issues while filling out the application, please email our Graduation Coordinator at Graduation@rowan.edu. The application only takes a few moments to fill out, and the student will see an acknowledgement after they apply, which should be printed and kept for their records.
• There is a non-refundable processing fee of $65, payable to Rowan University each time an application is submitted. There is also an extended application deadline which will be assessed an additional $45.00 processing fee. Applications are NOT accepted after the extended deadline dates.

Step 2: CONFIRM COMMENCEMENT PARTICIPATION!

• Confirm your participation in the 2013 Commencement ceremonies before April 22, 2013.
• Visit Student Self-Service at www.rowan.edu/selfservice
• Access Banner Services and enter your Banner ID and PIN
• Select “Student and Financial Aid” and click on “Commencement”
• Follow the prompts to confirm your attendance

Tickets are not necessary for outdoor venues. Tickets are only necessary for admittance in the event of inclement weather. The ONLY way to secure Commencement tickets and guest seating for an indoor ceremony is by completing this form. Each graduate student registered to participate will receive four (4) tickets mailed on April 23 to the address of record on the Banner system. Graduates will also receive a booklet explaining further Graduate Commencement details. If students do not receive tickets at their address of record by May 3, please contact the Office of University Events at (856) 256-5432.

Ticket Requirement/Inclement Weather

In the case of inclement weather, the Graduate Ceremony will be held in Esbjornson Gym. Due to capacity limitations and fire regulations, tickets are required for entry and no extra tickets are available. Any additional guests must wait in the lobby until all ticket holders are seated before they are allowed to enter the venue. Ushers will be on hand to escort guests accordingly.

Rain ceremony changes will be announced starting at noon on May 16 on WGLS-FM 89.7 and KYW-AM 1060. This information will also be available by phone at (856) 256-INFO and on the University website here.
