Special Needs Accommodations
Please note that the distance between the parking lots and ceremony location can be long and strenuous for elderly or mobility-impaired guests. Please carefully review the information below and make the necessary arrangements to ensure a safe and memorable Commencement day.

Parking and parking passes
Special needs parking spaces are reserved in Lots C and D along Carpenter St. and Bowe Blvd., respectively. Parking passes are required for these spaces. Please contact Elaina Surace in the Parking Office at (856) 256-4574 or email@example.com before April 30, 2013. Passes are given to guests that qualify on a first-come, first-served basis.
Seating for special needs guests is located under
a tent on the right side of the Wackar Stadium home bleachers. Seating
is limited to the special needs person and one companion. Wheelchair
seating is also available along the first row of stadium seats.
Reservations are not required, but both areas fill up quickly. Please
American Sign Language interpreters
If a sign language interpreter is needed for the Graduate Commencement ceremony, please contact the Academic Success Center at (856) 256-4259.
Rowan University does not provide wheelchairs for the Commencement ceremonies. If you need a wheelchair, please make your own arrangements prior to the ceremony. The following wheelchair and scooter rental company may be of service to you:
