A Little to the Right A Little to the Right ©1987 (Location: Hollybush patio)
Johnson has said he might one day do a little to the left …politically! All seven castings of this piece have been cast including the artist proof. Castings of this piece have been sold and are located from Los Angeles to New York to Switzerland.
Time's Up Time’s Up ©1983 (Location: Student Center drop off no parking on 322)
A real policeman was the model for this sculpture. Johnson asked him what face he would make if he had to write a ticket. Once the policeman made his “face” Johnson said FREEZE! RIGHT THERE! The ticket that the officer is writing is to Mr. Johnson for disorderly conduct. All seven castings of this piece have been cast including the artist proof. Castings of this piece have been sold and are located from New Orleans to Dallas to Istanbul, Turkey.

The model for this sculpture was a friend of Johnson’s named Gene. He was also the model for another popular sculpture by Johnson entitled, “Best Seller”.  Gene was the perfect model for these sculptures as he knows how to fully relax! All seven castings of this piece have been cast including the artist proof.

Point of View Point of View ©1987 (Location: Student Center Patio near a table)
Only two castings of this sculpture are in existence. Casting II was on exhibit in Brazil some years ago and the newspaper is cast in Portuguese.
Between Classes Between Classes ©1994 (Location: Memorial Quad near a tree)
Three castings of this sculpture were sold and are on exhibit at other educational facilities in Virginia, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania.
Coming Home Coming Home ©1992 (Location: Westby Entrance off 322)
This sculpture was inspired by a real life soldier and his daughter.  The father had recently arrived home from Desert Storm when he and his daughter came to the studio to pose for Mr. Johnson.
