International air and bus service is available to Philadelphia, which is 18 miles northwest of Glassboro. The Philadelphia International Airport is located approximately 25 miles from campus on the southern outskirts of the city of Philadelphia.

Schedules for public transportation can be obtained at the Rowan University Information Desk in the Student Center or at www.njtransit.com. NJ Transit buses travel from Glassboro, North to Philadelphia, PA and South to Cape May, NJ. The University is served by NJ Transit Routes #'s 313 and 412.
