Message from Dean, William G. Rohrer College of Business

It is truly my pleasure to welcome the students and faculty back to campus. This upcoming year is quickly proving to be one of the most important years in the life of the college. The college will be embarking on a year-long strategic planning initiative. Over the course of the year – all the members of the Rohrer College family will be invited to come to campus to share their insights, suggestions, and recommendations concerning the future direction of the college. This initiative will lead the development of a comprehensive strategic plan which will serve as the college “road map” informing organizational and institutional funding and priorities over the next few years. I am confident that with your help and advice – the Rohrer College will continue on its remarkable quest to become one of the most respected business schools in the world.

One important step in this journey is already underway. The Rohrer College is actively partnering with other University departments to launch the planning, design, and construction of the new Rohrer College of Business building. Due to the generous support of the State of New Jersey and additional funding from the University – the Rohrer College business building project is already underway. Building and site planning for the new building is projected to be completed early this fall. An actual architectural design of the building is scheduled to be completed early next year with building construction slated to begin in the spring. If the building project “stays on-time and on budget” – the Rohrer College could be in their new building as early the fall 2016 semester. I look forward to the building becoming “South Jersey’s New Home for Business”.

Best Regards,
