Rowan's Department of Geography and the Environment offers bachelor's degrees in four related subject areas: Geography (B.A.), Environmental Studies (B.A.), Geographic Information Science, or GIS (B.S.), and Planning (B.S.). From pollution and climate change to the loss of biodiversity, environmental issues must be viewed through a variety of lenses: social, political, economic, ethical, and scientific – and Rowan's Department of Geography and the Environment provides the tools and options for students to do so.
