A pillar to Rowan University's strategy is to drive economic growth in the region. As an integral component of that initiative, Rowan University is committed to supporting the entrepreneurial and business community by providing resources to help their ventures grow thus increasing the economic value in the region.

The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship is part of our Entrepreneurship Across the Campus initiative where we encourage and support students, faculty, staff and the regions business community by providing mentoring, networking, consulting and access to financial resources in support of their ventures.

Hatch House at Rowan University

The Hatch House at Rowan University is part of a broader initiative called Entrepreneurship Across the Campus. providing resources for the region.

Rowan Innovation Fund

The Rowan Innovation Venture Fund is a University-based, $5 million private-equity fund. The Rowan University Foundation established the Fund in 2014 to provide early-stage funding primarily to students, faculty, staff, alumni, and South Jersey individuals and companies that have developed and tested projects and products that are ready to compete in the marketplace.

Project Based Learning

Project-based learning is an educational initiative offered at Rowan University, developed is to bring real-world projects into the classroom, and in some cases, bring the classroom to the real world.
