All of our graduates who took the state-required certification exams passed them and were ready to work. Employment needs for graduates with degrees in education remain high. According to the Occupational Employment Statistics program at the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, the number of positions for education and training occupations (projected from 2014 to 2024) will steadily grow, with positions in some administrative positions growing at a rate of over 6%. For the same time period, preschool, primary, secondary and special education projected job openings (due to growth and replacement needs) should soar to 1,199,600 nationwide. According to Payscale.com, graduates with degrees in education tend to feel their jobs help make the world a better place. A full 81% of early childhood education graduates feel they make a positive difference just by doing their jobs.
