Program Overview

This intensive five-level, non-credit program provides face-to-face instruction in classes ranging from Academic Reading & Writing to American Literature and Oral Presentation Skills.

**Successful completion of the IELP can be used in place of the TOEFL or IELTS scores for university admission into undergraduate and graduate degrees of study.**

**Students who use the IELP in place of the TOEFL or IELTS scores must still meet all other academic requirements for university admission.

Successful Completion of the IELP

Students who wish to attend the IELP to fulfill their language requirement for university admission must meet the following requirements:

  • Successful completion of level 5 with a minimum GPA of 2.5
  • Minimum score of 543 on the IELP Exit Test (for direct university admission)
  • Minimum score of 500 on the IELP Exit Test (for Pathway admission)
