Welcome to Rowan University!

We are glad that you have chosen to come Rowan to continue your education. Many faculty, staff, and administrators across campus are happy to assist you with your transition from your previous institution to Rowan University.

The following information will help you complete the enrollment process at Rowan University.  For many of the following registration processes you will need your Rowan Student ID number. This number is located on the top left corner of your acceptance letter. The first time you log into any system your password is your birthdate (mmddyy - example: April 3, 1990 would be 040390).

Accepted Students

You received an Enrollment Confirmation form with your acceptance letter. In order to officially enroll at Rowan University you need to mail that confirmation form to Rowan, along with the $200 enrollment fee. The fee must be paid via check or money order. Cash and electronic payment are not accepted at this time. Please mail the Enrollment Confirmation and fee to the address listed on the bottom of the form.

Please note: You will not be able to do many of the other things on this page (register for housing, register for orientation, etc.) until your Enrollment Confirmation form and fee have been received and logged by the Admissions Office.

After confirming enrollment, use the New Student Checklist to manage next steps, including applying for housing, registering for Orientation, completing required health forms and setting up your Rowan email.

Credit Evaluation

Once you are accepted for admission, the Registrar and the academic department for your intended academic program will complete a credit evaluation for you. Approximately eight weeks after acceptance, your completed credit evaluation will be available online via your student Banner account.

Credit evaluations are completed in two stages. General education equivalences are determined by the Registrar's Office, Division of Credential Evaluations. Additional courses, including those applicable to your individual major, are evaluated by the advisement coordinator in your accepted academic department. If you are currently enrolled in courses at another institution, it is your responsibility to have a final official transcript forwarded to the Admissions Office ( as soon as it becomes available. Students with questions about specific course or advisement issues can email for further information.

To view your transfer credit evaluation, login to Self Service Banner and navigate to Student -> Student Records -> Transfer Credit Report.

Credit Appeal process

After you have reviewed your transfer credit evaluation with your advisor, if you disagree with a transfer equivalency at Rowan, please complete the Transfer Credit Appeal process.

Transfer Information Sessions

Transfer Information Sessions introduce you to Rowan’s registration system, academic program information and assist with initial course scheduling.

The goal of this session will be to introduce you to Rowan’s registration system, review academic program information and assist with initial course scheduling.  Academic advising will not be part of this session.

All sessions will be held in the Office of Career Advancement Resource Library – Savitz Hall, 2nd floor (directly across from the Admissions Office).  Visit the Transfer Students page for dates, times and to RSVP.

Please keep in mind that although attending a New Transfer Information Session and/or tour will be extremely helpful it is expected that you also register for and attend Transfer Orientation.  Attendance at Orientation is required for all new students. 

Mandatory Requirements

Utlize the New Student Checklist to complete additional mandatory requirements, such as applying for housing (if applicable), completing mandatory health forms, scheduling placement testing and creating your Rowan network account.
