Diversity

Diversifying ideas and inspiring new possibilities.

Rowan University promotes a diverse community that begins with students, faculty, staff and administration who respect each other and value each other’s dignity. By identifying and removing barriers and fostering individual potential, Rowan will cultivate a community where all members can learn and grow. The Rowan University community is committed to a safe environment that encourages intellectual, academic, and social interaction and engagement across multiple intersections of identities. At Rowan University, creating and maintaining a caring community that embraces diversity in its broadest sense is among the highest priorities.

With enrollment consisting of students spanning 33 States, 19 foreign countries, and 1 of 4 students coming from a diverse population, Rowan's students bring forward an extremely unique set of thoughts and perspectives. Reflections of the rich and diverse population is visible through the arts & culture on and off campus as well as within classroom settings where students learn from internationally respected professors. Starting with freshman orientation and other first year experiences, students will be able to establish a safe and diverse network early in their academic career.
