Procedure for Reporting Hate/Offensive Graffiti Anyone who discovers any hate or offensive graffiti should immediately contact Public Safety (ext. 4922). Jacquelynn Bayard, Supervisor Facilities Operations and Glenn Brewer, Director Facilities Operations will report any hate graffiti (or anything offensive) directly to Public Safety immediately upon discovering same. Neither Housekeeping nor Maintenance personnel will remove the graffiti until Public Safety has had an opportunity to conduct whatever investigation is appropriate and directs its removal. If the graffiti is scratched into a surface, a work order will be produced to paint over the graffiti to remove it from sight. All Housekeeping and maintenance personnel will be trained to identify such graffiti and told to inform either Ms. Bayard (ext. 4952) or Mr. Brewer (ext. 4507) immediately upon discovery of such graffiti. Housekeeping personnel will advise Ms. Bayard immediately upon discovery of such graffiti, and Ms. Bayard will then inform Public Safety. Maintenance staff discovering such graffiti will immediately inform Mr. Brewer who will inform Public Safety and the above procedures will be followed by Plant Operations. Public Safety will investigate each report in a timely manner. This procedure concerns personnel within Administration & Finance. Other Divisions may wish to adopt similar or other procedures.
