Engineering IT Office

 

The engineering IT office is located on the 3rd floor (room 324) in Rowan Hall directly adjacent to the Open laboratory.

The office fulfills the following functions:

- Install hardware and software on all computers in the open labs (1st, 2nd, and 3rd floors)
- Install hardware and software on faculty and staff desktop computers and laptops
- Support printing, copying functions
- Help students, faculty and staff with sofware issues
- Provide hardware/software quotes
- Maintain the audio/video equipment in the open labs, auditorium and smart classrooms


What the office does not do:

- Help with computer applications that require specific knowledge of the application.
- Directly work on private computers (ie: computers not purchased with University funds).

IT Office staff:

The IT office is composed of:

- 2 full-time positions
- Part-time positions staffed by student workers
