Position Announcement Position: Assistant/Associate Professor, Finance (tenure-track), College of Business Department: Accounting/Finance Description: Responsibilities include teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in finance subject areas including but not restricted to core finance courses, financial management, and international financial management. Maintaining an active research agenda in the discipline and in support of quality teaching, participating in learning assurance activities, active engagement in department, college, university, and professional activities, and advising students. Qualifications: Ph.D. in Finance by September 1, 2010 is required. Previous college teaching experience is desirable. Starting Date: September 1, 2010 Salary: Competitive General Info: The Accounting and Finance Department is one of three academic departments within the College of Business. The department offers undergraduate BS degrees in Accounting and Finance. The department also supports the Rohrer College of Business MBA program with specializations in Finance and Accounting. The department's atmosphere reflects the invigorating environment at Rowan University which is a vibrant, comprehensive state institution with a present enrollment of over 11,000 students. The university is located in a suburban, residential setting in southern New Jersey and is less than 20 miles from Philadelphia. All positions are contingent upon budget appropriations.
