Research All undergraduate science students at Rowan University have the opportunity to participate with faculty in independent lab work and field research, a privilege often reserved for graduate students and professionals. In fact, the completion of a research project is a capstone requirement for graduation with the BS in Chemistrty or BS in Biochemistry. Students enrolled in the BS in Physical Sciences can elect to do a research project. Many students travel with faculty to state and national conferences where they present and publish findings from their research. Visit the individual faculty web sites for more details on possible research project areas. The Materials Research Group is an intendisciplinary group of faculty all engaged in the study of materials. Some of the members of the group are chemistry.
