• For Education Majors - Search the American School Directory for a listing of information provided by registered K-12 schools in America. An excellent source of information to prepare for interviewing.
• ASK ERIC is for educators, librarians and parents. ERIC will respond to a question in 48 hours. The site also includes lesson plans, projects, news in education and current educational research.
• Council of the Great City Schools - This site is dedicated to urban public school systems. Provides links and resources advocating k-12 education in inner-city schools.
• Delaware School District Info this site includes school profiles (public, charter, and special) in addition to school addresses and phone numbers.
• EDU (Educational Directories Unlimited) is a provider of online academic program directories targeted toward prospective students. This site also has a direct link to grad school information.
• Education Week- Contains education news, special reports and hot topics.
• K-12 SCHOOLS - allows you to search for a school by region and then connects you to the school's homepage provided they are in the site's directory.
• Maryland Educational Resources - Provides direct links to Maryland public schools, as well as links to publications and resources.
• Maryland State Dept. of Education - Current news section for the state, helpful map and direct links to counties, various research reports.
• National Association of Independent Schools - Includes a searchable database of 1000+ independent schools in the US and abroad.
• National Education Association - Provides news, job listings, and information about careers in education.
