CIA - The Central Intelligence Agency was created in 1947 with the signing of the National Security Act by President Harry S. Truman - an independent US Government agency responsible for providing national security intelligence to senior U.S. policymakers.

SIGAR (Special Inspector General for Afghanistan Reconstruction) - a temporary agency created by Congress to provide for the independent and objective conduct and supervision of audits, inspections, and investigations relating to funds appropriated for humanitarian and reconstruction assistance to Afghanistan

SIGIR  (Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction) - a temporary federal agency created by Congress to provide oversight of the Iraq Relief and Reconstruction Fund (IRRF) and all obligations, expenditures, and revenues associated with reconstruction and rehabilitation activities in Iraq.
