Mission Statement

The mission of the marketing program is to prepare students for marketing careers in a rapidly changing business, social, and political environment.

Student Learning Goals

  • Understand the concepts, principles and broad range of activities performed in the marketing of goods and services to the ultimate consumer and industrial user.
  • Understand why consumers behave as they do when making decisions regarding the purchase of products and services.
  • Are able to develop marketing strategy plans.
  • Are able to identify marketing problems and develop appropriate solutions by collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data.
  • Are able to identify foreign markets and develop marketing strategies for the penetration of these international markets.
