Dr. Tom Monahan
Tom Monahan, professor of educational leadership, is a longstanding member of the Rowan community. Prof. Monahan has served the university in a variety of roles since 1984, including service as director of grants and sponsored research, executive assistant to the provost, acting dean of the graduate school, and associate provost for academic affairs. He has been teaching in the Educational Leadership Department for 20 years, first as adjunct professor and, since the spring of 2000, as a member of the full-time faculty. Prof. Monahan currently serves as the advisor for the M.A. program in supervision and curriculum development, the school business administrator track of the M.A. in school administration, and the supervisor’s certification program. Most recently, he teachers master’s level courses in Procedures and Evaluation and Research, Quantitative Analysis in Educational Research, and Educational Supervision. His undergraduate work was done at LeMoyne College in Syracuse, New York, and his master’s and doctoral degrees were completed at Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey.
