PS Club/Honor Society

**Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society, is now taking applications. ** (Sign up in the Political Science office in Robinson Hall, 3rd floor, if you think you might be eligible.)

The Political Science Club and Pi Sigma Alpha, the Political Science Honor Society, meet regularly during the academic school year.  The Political Science Club is open to all Rowan students.  Requirements for Pi Sigma Alpha are a 3.0 GPA in at least 12 hours of political science courses, plus a 3.0 overall GPA.

As A Result Of Maintaining An Excellent Overall Grade Point Average, The Students Listed Below Are Eligible To Join Pi Sigma Alpha, The National Honor Society Of Political Science Majors And Minors.

NOTE:
If any of the students listed above choose to join Pi Sigma Alpha, you must pay a national initiation fee of $30.00, in the Political Science office in Robinson Hall, 3rd floor by (TBA) to be included in this year’s honors list. New members of Pi Sigma Alpha will be entitled to wear the dark blue PS honor cord at graduation, and you and a guest will receive a free ticket to the annual political science dinner.  You will receive your certificates and be honored along with our graduating seniors at the annual spring Political Science banquet (time, date & location will be announced at a later date), normally in April or May. 

As a member of Pi Sigma Alpha you are entitled to have your name listed in the commencement program when you graduate, and a notation will be made on your transcript, and to include your membership on applications for employment, for graduate schools, and/or for professional education.  Rowan members of Pi Sigma Alpha are also automatically members of the Political Science Student Club and can take part in all their activities including serving as officers.
