RU AMA strives to be a tremendous source for professional development for all of our members, as well as other Rohrer College of Business students. As much as our chapter has grown in the past few years, we continue to attempt expand our organization and provide excellent opportunities. Membership has seen a steady growth over the past few years and we hope to continue this trend. Through some of the ideas and plans listed, we hope to become an even more successful and resourceful organization.

Student Run Company:
One of the primary goals for RU AMA is to start up our own student run company within the next calendar year. There is a plethora of small business located throughout the surrounding campus area in need of marketing plan help. Our company is going to be designed to help these small businesses. By assisting them in generating creative ideas to help promote them, we will educate our members, and give a real life marketing experience.

College of Business Promotion:
In conjunction with the student run company, we plan to eventually be the Rohrer College of Business’ main promotion source for banquets, events and conferences. In order to increase participation and awareness about events that the College of Business organizes, we plan to work with the Assistant Dean to assist with promotional efforts.

Rowan University Marketing Database:
Our department provides excellent service for students in search of internship or job opportunities. We are currently in process of creating a marketing based contact list and information data base for student use. This will be yet another excellent professional development opportunity for our members.
