National Coming Out Day
The "Stepping Out" event featured guest speakers Jon and Michael Galluccio. They came to Rowan sharing their personal story of struggle, love, and victory with the campus community.
The Galluccios met at the college when they were students here in 1981. They were the first gay couple in New Jersey to legally adopt children jointly, and have collectively written a book entitled An American Family. The story was both humorous and emotional, leaving many inspired and giving a newfound confidence to some. Jon and Michael also gave the GSA a gift which was a signed copy of their book.
