About Lambda Pi Eta: Mu Tau Chapter Lambda Pi Eta is the official honorary society for communication students at Rowan University, the Mu Tau chapter. It is affiliated with the National Communication Association and has over 240 active chapters. Lambda Pi Eta is recognized and accredited by the association of College Honor Societies. The organization, which was founded in 1985, recognizes outstanding students in the communication field, encourages their interests and development and forms strong relationships between students and faculty. Because Lambda Pi Eta is more than simply good grades, it requires that students become active participants in the communication field and supporters of their program. This is beneficial to students, the College, the University and the surrounding community.
