What do you do at a meeting?
The meetings consist of a variety of presentations, activities, guest speakers or group discussion on current topics.

Can I bring a friend?
Yes! The Newman Club welcomes and encourages all students to attend and bring their friends.

No I need to be a Catholic to attend the Newman Club?
No. All Rowan students are welcome.

Can I come to Mass and not belong to the Newman Club?
Yes. You do not have to belong to the Newman Club to attend Mass.

How long are the meetings?
They are generally one hour long.

Who was Cardinal Newman?
Cardinal John Henry Newman was a 19th century scholar and religious leader in England. His name is associated with Campus Ministry on secular College/University campuses throughout the world. Newman Centers got their start on campuses in 1893 as a service to students at the University of Pennsylvania. As an approach to both the needs of the student body and service to the campus, it has developed rapidly! They now serve all students, faculty/staff, administration and alumni.
