World War I and II took their toll respectively on the Sigma Pi, but by 1950 college enrollment increased dramatically and by the end of the decade there were 50 chapters in Sigma Pi. The 1950's again saw a decrease in enrollment, resulting in only minimal growth, however the 1960 was a great time of expansion, with 100th charter, granted in 1969, was presented to Delta-Epsilon Chapter at Seton Hall. February 26, 1965 saw the re-establishment of the Alpha chapter, which had be dormant since 1910. In 1984, the Fraternity again changed its name to Sigma Pi Fraternity, International, with the charting for the Zeta-Iota chapter in Western Ontario. Today, Sigma Pi is still growing and is active as ever, being one of the top 10 national fraternities
