Biological Science: The Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciencs program requires you to get a broad background in biology but maintains the flexibility to build your own specialty track so that you can prepare for a career after Rowan University. Our faculty’s wide range of experience will prepare you for work in research, laboratories, professional schools, and graduate programs in diverse areas which include medicine, research, education, government service, and industry. This degree is an excellent option for students looking to continue their education in graduate schools (Masters or PhD) and medical fields such as medical school, dental school, veterinary medicine, pharmaceutical science, occupational therapy, and physical therapy programs. • B.A. Biological Science:  The Bachelor of Arts in Biological Science is a good choice for students who would like to pair their study of biology with another discipline such as education, psychology, environmental studies, biomedical illustration, writing arts, business, etc. and do not plan on a career as a scientific researcher. This is not an appropriate major for students who plan to attend graduate school (Masters or Ph.D.) in biology or who plan to attend professional school in medicine, dentistry, veterinary science, or pharmacy.
