The Engineering Outreach Office assists students in securing sumer internships and professional careers after graduation. In the past, students have found positions with such high-profile organizations as Lockheed Martin, DuPont, Exxon/Mobil, Inductotherm, Glaxo SmithKline Pharmaceuticals, Johnson-Matthey, Hoffman LaRoche, Campbell Soup Company, Lucent, Sony, PSE&G and Conectiv (to name just a few).

To assist students in their research of potential job and internship opportunities, a database of companies hiring engineers has been developed. The list, Rowan Engineering partner companies, represents companies who have partnered with Rowan Engineering and is by no means a comprehensive list of every engineering company.

Internship Fair

October 7, 2008

Student Center

Students are encouraged to seek internship opportunities early int he academic year. Business attire is required to enter the Fair and students must bring several copies of their resume along with them.

Recruitment Week

October 27 - October 31, 2008

Location: Education Hall Reading Suites

Registration via Experience

The format for Recruitment Week is one-on-one interviewing at Rowan University. Companies choose a day during the week on which to interview candidates for full-time positions. Qualified students apply for interviews by posting their resumes for each company of interest. Students can apply for as many opportunities as they want, as long as they are qualified. A company representative pre-screens the resumes and chooses candidates to interview. Students are notified of acceptance via an e-mail from Experience and must then choose a interview time.

Rowan University's Spring recruiting event for engineering students seeking professional careers and summer internships. Free to attend for students and no pre-registration is required however, professional business attire is required to enter the Career Fair. Make certain to bring along several copies of your resume and be prepared to network with company representatives.

The 2008 Career Fair had over 140 companies in attendance and 600 students. All students are encouraged to attend the Fair to experience the activity and secure a job or internship.
