This award is in recognition of the membership and participation of the students and faculty, the quality and quantity of your meetings and activities, and our chapter's involvement in local, regional and national events. This award will be announced at the AIChE Annual meeting on November 4 in Salt Lake City, UT. This is the first time that Rowan's AIChE Student Chapter has been selected for this honor and this is a very significant achievement. From over 150 universities that offer chemical engineering degrees in the US, only 15 AIChE student chapters are selected as Outstanding AIChE Student Chapters. I would like to congratulate all chemical engineering students at Rowan for their contributions in making this an outstanding chapter! I would like to also recognize the efforts of Dean Dodaro, the student chapter president, in putting this application together and Brian Lefebvre, the Student Chapter Advisor, for his guidance in this matter.
