Connect, Edit, Publish

  1. Type the address in the address text box in the Contribute browser.
  2. Click the connect button.
    1. The web page should now be loaded onto your screen.
    2. The connect button should now be changed to edit page.
  3. Click the edit page button.
    1. You can now edit the page you are currently viewing.
    2. Once you have finshed editing your page you need to publish your changes so it can be viewed by everyone that visits your page.
  4. Click the publish button
    1. Your changes are now upload to your site and can now be viewed by anyone that visits your website.

     

Add An Image

  1. In edit mode you can add an image by clicking the image button.
    1. Select "From My Computer".
    2. Navigate where your image is located in the "Select Image" menu.
    3. Select your image.
  2. Once you have your image, you can format it on your page.
  3. Click the publish button.
    1. Your changes can now be viewed on your website.

 

Make A Link

  1. In edit mode highlight the text you would like to link.
    1. Click link button.
    2. Click browse to web page.
  2. In the "Insert Link" menu, your highlighted text is grayed out in the "Linked Text" text box.
  3. Type the web address in the Web Address (URL) text box or browse for a location.
    1. Click "OK" button.
  4. Your text is now linked to your web page.
  5. Click the publish button to make changes to web page.

*note: You can also link your text to an email address by selecting the "Email Address" option in the link menu.

Add a PDF

  1. In edit mode click "Insert" in the menu bar.
    1. Go to PDF Document.
    2. Select from My Computer.
  2. In the "Open" menu navigate to your file.
  3. Click Open.
    1. You have the option of embedding the document or creating a link.
    2. Select " Insert the PDf as Embedded object".
  4. You can now resize or move you pdf inside your web page.
  5. Click the publish button to make changes to web page.

 

Make a Table

  1. In edit mode click "Table" button.
    1. Insert Table menu appears and gives you options on how to format your table.
    2. Click "OK" after making your selections.
  2. You can now resize or move you table inside your web page.
  3. Click the publish button to make changes to web page.

 

Add a File

  1. In edit mode highlight your text.
  2. Select "Insert" from the menu bar.
    1. Go to "Link" in the drop down menu.
    2. Files on My Computer.
  3. In the "Insert Link" menu, your highlighted text is grayed out in the "Linked Text" text box.
  4. Browse button and navigate to your file.
  5. Click select button.
  6. Then click "OK" to link your text to that file.
  7. Click the publish button to make changes to web page.
