Eligibility

All freshmen, sophomores, and juniors are eligible for the concentration. Students will be asked to submit an essay to the faculty concentration committee discussing how their interest in the concentration will benefit their current studies at Rowan and their future endeavors.

Leadership can be explored in any major. The program transcends disciplinary boundaries. Typically, leadership has been explored in anthropology, sociology, psychology, education, history, political science, and business. The concentration suits the needs of any student wishing to gain knowledge and experience in developing and practicing leadership skills. Even if students do not know their area of interest, they can still apply and become a student of leadership studies. In addition, some courses in the concentration may be used to satisfy major requirements.

Application & Enrollment

You can fill out an application form online, or pick up an application in the Educational Leadership Department, 2nd floor, Robinson Hall. Return all applications to the department of Educational Leadership. Once you are accepted, you can enroll with the guidance of your advisor.
