Syllabus
Text:  Excursions in Modern Mathematics, Tannenbaum and Arnold, 5th edition.

Tests:  There will be three tests given this semester.
           If a test is missed it must be made up within one week.

Quizzes:  There will be three take-home quizzes given this semester.  
               If a quiz is missed it cannot be retaken.  The lowest quiz grade will be dropped when  your grade is computed.

Grading:  3 Tests (25% each)
               2 Best Quiz Grades Averaged (25%)

Homework:  Students are expected to complete homework assignments for the following class.                       
Homework will not be collected but some problems will be discussed.

Calculator:  Students will need a scientific calculator (or graphing).
