Nov 4th- MAA Fall Meeting (North Jersey)

NCTM- Atlantic City, October 19-21st

Joint Conference- New Orleans (January) - Plans to talk to Dr. Czochor about transportation costs

Potential Service Projects: Projection - 4 this year- NEED ideas

Math Picnic- October 27th- 3:00 PM
Park Behind Burger King- Renlund Park

Actuary Meetings- Meeting Fridays 10:30 am in the Math Learning Center (this Friday- 10/13/06- there will be NO meeting)

Minutes from October 2nd Math Club Meeting

Discussion included:

1> Putnam competition- We were encouraged to participate

2> Challenging Problems - A group will meet Thursdays from 3-4 PM

3> Dr. Simons has a Problems Competiton due October 15th in the Math Department. Problems are listed on the Math Information Board outside the elevator on the second floor.
