Commemorative Book Program
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Friends of Campbell Library offers you the opportunity to commemorate
family members or friends by requesting that a book be purchased
in their name by the Library. For a suggested donation of only $50,
you may suggest a specific title for purchase by the library, or
you may suggest a subject area for the book and the library staff
will do the rest. A bookplate, indicating in whose name the book
was donated, will be attached inside the front cover of the book.
A commemorative book is the perfect way to honor
anyone connected with Rowan, from the new graduate to the fifty-year
alumnus. Commencement, birthdays, reunions--any occasion is suitable
for this special gift. Books may also be purchased in memory of
friends and family members who have passed away.
Books housed in the Campbell Library cover a wide
range of subjects, and it is possible to find a book to fit almost
any interest. For instance, a commemorative book for a dedicated
bird-watcher could be on the study of birds, or on birds in art,
or on bird-watching itself. If you are unsure or have no preference,
the library staff will select a book to fit the library's needs.
If you would like to make a commemorative book
donation, simply send your check (made payable to Rowan University
Foundation/ FoCaL) to the address below, along with a note stating
the name of the person you wish to honor and the subject area in
which you would like the book to be purchased.
