Paul Laumakis holds a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics and is a Professor of Mathematics at Rowan University.  He has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering and teaches engineering majors at Rowan their sophomore year sequence in engineering mathematics.

During the summers, Paul works on grants related to K-12 teacher enhancement programs.  He has worked as a facilitator for the South Jersey Mathematics Partnership from 2006-2009, including site visits with middle school science teachers.  He is currently an instructor in the Articulation of Content, Expectations, and Standards Grant where he works with consortiums of teachers on matters related to the newly adopted Common Core State Standards in K-12 mathematics.
