Description of Process A:
Process A forms are to be used for a new non-General Education course or minor revision of one; minor curricular changes (3 or fewer) to a major, minor, specialization, concentration, track, or certification program, or 3 or fewer changes to an existing non-General Education course or non-General Education degree requirements.

Description of Process B:
Process B forms are to be used for all changes to General Education, including minor changes to a existing course; request for a new or existing course to receive the following designation: Writing Intensive, Literature, Lab Science, Multicultural/Global, or Rowan Seminar; changes to General Education requirements of a degree or program; or a new or existing course to be put in the General Education Bank: Fine/Performing Arts, LAS: Humanities, LAS: Social/Behavioral; LAS: Math/Science, or Communication Studies.

Description of Process C:
Process C forms are to be used for a new degree program; new major, new minor, new concentration, specialization or track; New Certification of Graduate Studies (COGS & CAGS); major changes to degree requirements for major/minor or certification program; or changes to the name of a College, School, Department or Degree; and Quasi-curricular change.
All new programs must provide the CIP (Classification Instructional Program) code. Codes are available at

Description of Process D:
Process D forms are to be used for the admission or removal of a major from restricted status. Criteria to gain restricted status as a major include: accreditation, artistic qualifications, field placement, lab space, licensure, or other (specify). Consultation with the CAP Center is required with this proposal. Process D forms are submitted once a year on December 1st
