Recent OSP Developments NEW February 2013 - Changes to NIH Public Access Policy Compliance Efforts Apply to All Awards with Anticipated Start Dates on or after July 1, 2013 NEW January 2013 - Effective retroactively from July 1, 2012 through June 30, 2013, fringe rates are as follows: January 2013- The Office of Sponsored Programs and University Advancement offer weekly educational workshops. November 2012- In 2013, the National Institutes of Health (NIH) will begin to block the renewal of grant awards in cases where journal publications arising from the award do not comply with its open-access rule. In order to avoid disruptions to your NIH awards, please ensure that your publications include the PMC reference number (PMCID) when citing applicable papers.
