Services

Types of assistance offered by the Office of Government Grants includes:

  1. Assisting in the identification of possible funding opportunities for a project or program.
  2. Assisting in the interpretation of sponsor's guidelines.
  3. Providing resources to faculty and staff in the grant development process.
  4. Advising and assisting applicants in preparing a budget.
  5. Completing necessary forms, assurances, certifications, etc.
  6. Advising and assisting applicants in structuring, sequencing, and packaging a proposal.
  7. Upon request, editing drafts of proposals.
  8. Upon request, providing critiques of draft proposals.
  9. Coordinating the internal approvals and signatures for a grant proposal.
  10. Coordinating the internal approvals and signatures for awards and contracts.
  11. Reminding investigators of upcoming annual and final progress reports.
  12. Providing educational resources through the Office of Government Grants' Website, workshops, seminars, and training session.
  13. Production of a monthly newsletter entitled Grants Grabber.
