One of the roles of the Office of the University Registrar is to assist the community with finding course descriptions and other curricular information about our courses and our undergraduate degree and non-degree programs.

Note: Only undergraduate academic program guides are listed below. Please contact Rowan Global (global@rowan.edu) for information about our non-medical graduate programs specialized undergraduate programs (100% online, off-site, etc.). Please contact the appropriate medical school for information about Rowan's medical programs. (School of Osteopathic Medicine: somadm@rowan.edu; Cooper Medical School of Rowan University: admissions@coopermed.rowan.edu)

University Catalog/Course Description Information

  • Current Catalogs:

      • Note: To find course descriptions only (between Fall 2006-Present), you may also use our Self Service System (no log in required). Click on "Course Catalog" on the first page.
  • Online Catalogs 1995-Present:
    • Visit College Source and search for "Rowan University" to find undergraduate catalogs (listed as "Rowan University" under catalog list) or graduate catalogs (listed as "Rowan University Graduate, "Rowan University Graduate & Continuing Education," and "Rowan University Global Learning & Partnerships").
  • Catalog/Course Description Information Prior to 1995:
    • To request course descriptions for catalog years not available online, please send an email to registrarassist@rowan.edu with the following information:
      • Your name
      • Your Rowan ID number
      • Course name
      • Course number
      • When the course was taken (ex: Fall 1989)
      • Fax number or mailing address where information can be sent in the event it cannot be returned via email

  • Program Guides/curricular requirements for each academic program should be listed below in alphabetical order by college name and then program name. Pleaee contact registrarassist@rowan.edu if you notice an error/missing link, etc.
  • The links below have been provided by the academic departments within which each major/program listed is housed. Please follow the links and consult with your advisor to always make sure you are using the most up-to-date information for your program requirements.
  • Instructions on Viewing and Printing PDF Program Guides: To view and print out the program guides that are PDFs, you will need the free Acrobat Reader software available at the Adobe Web site. You will be able to download the software for Macintosh, PC and UNIX platforms.
